French startup Univity targets 3,400-satellite mega network

On 2026-04-23, French startup Univity said it had raised $32 million in fresh funding to advance plans for a 3,400-satellite low-Earth-orbit network. The company, backed in part by French state-linked investors and a contract from the French space agency, aims to become Europe’s largest satellite internet operator.
