Kazakhstan develops AI-powered interactive subsoil mapping tool

On 2026-04-28, Kazakhstan announced that it had developed an AI-powered interactive map of subsoil resources. Minister of Industry and Construction Yersayin Nagaspayev said the system automatically processes archival geological materials, generates models, and supports filtering and analysis of digitized data. The update was reported at a government meeting in Astana.
