Japan and Turkey foreign ministers hold telephone call

On 2026-04-01, Japan's Foreign Minister Motegi held a telephone call with Türkiye's Foreign Minister. Motegi expressed grave concern about the deterioration of the situation in the Middle East and said Japan wanted to work closely with Türkiye and others for early de-escalation.
