Nigeria’s Federal Government reaffirms commitment to affordable housing for Nigerians

On 2026-04-21, the Federal Housing Authority said it was positioned to commence construction of the Renewed Hope Housing estates across Nigeria, following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive on delivering affordable housing. The announcement came during a groundbreaking ceremony in Umuahia, Abia State, marking the start of the South-East rollout of the housing programme.
