Solano County supervisors discuss radio interoperability upgrades

On 2026-04-07, Solano County supervisors approved a public safety communication system licensing revenue agreement with Vallejo and Benicia and accepted over $1 million in federal Community Project Funding for radio interoperability. County staff also gave an update on the county’s communications network, centered on the Motorola Core and 15 radio towers serving six dispatch centers and 3,835 subscriber radios.
