On 2026-04-24, Telecom Namibia and Angola Telecom signed an MoU and commercial terms agreement to expand subsea connectivity along Southern Africa’s west coast. The deal gives Angola Telecom access to international capacity via Telecom Namibia’s Equiano subsea cable landing in Swakopmund and supports planned cooperation on the SARSSy cable project.
