Kia cuts 2030 EV target by over 20% and plans humanoid robots in the US

On 2026-04-09, Kia Corp said it would lower its 2030 EV sales target to 1 million from 1.26 million and trim its overall 2030 vehicle sales goal. In the same investor presentation, it also said it plans to deploy Atlas humanoid robots from Boston Dynamics at its Georgia factory starting in 2029.
