NCLT technical member files CAT case against acting President appointment

On 2026-04-08, NCLT technical member Kaushalendra Kumar Singh moved the Central Administrative Tribunal in Delhi challenging the Union of India’s appointment of judicial member Bachu Venkat Balaram Das as acting President of the National Company Law Tribunal. The article says Singh had earlier filed the matter in the Delhi High Court, then withdrew it and pursued the dispute before the CAT.
