BJP worker assaulted during local poll campaign in Ahmedabad

On 2026-04-20, a BJP worker was allegedly assaulted during a local election campaign in the Lakshmipura Chali/Ashok Mill Ni Navi Chali area of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. According to the FIR, a resident told the BJP team not to campaign there and then abused and assaulted the complainant. No fatalities were reported.
