Jammu and Kashmir police bust LeT interstate racket; five arrested, leader sought

On 2026-04-07, Jammu and Kashmir police, with central agencies, arrested five people in Srinagar in a major operation against an interstate Lashkar-e-Taiba module. Officials said the probe uncovered a network providing logistics and financial support to terrorists and recovered incriminating material from 19 searched locations across Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Haryana. Among those arrested were Abdullah alias Abu Hureira and Pakistani national Usman alias Khubaib.
