‘Guru’ arrested in Sicily on child abuse allegations

On 2026-04-02, Italian police arrested a suspected leader of an isolated forest community near Cefalu, Sicily, on suspicion of aiding and abetting child abuse. The man, described as of German-Indian origin, was reported to have led a small community that included two children living in poor hygienic conditions without electricity.
