Man remanded over near-fatal bar stabbing on Baillou Hill Road

On 2026-04-02, acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans remanded Charles Brown to prison in the Bahamas over an alleged attempted murder stemming from a stabbing outside a bar on Baillou Hill Road. Brown was not required to enter a plea and was told the case would proceed to the Supreme Court by voluntary bill of indictment.
