Armenia proposes easing tax-related criminal rules

On 2026-04-14, Armenia’s State Revenue Committee presented draft amendments to the National Assembly that would raise the criminal-prosecution threshold for tax violations. Chairman Eduard Hakobyan said the proposal would decriminalize about 600 cases and adjust sanctions for larger violations.
