MP Brittas asks education minister to intervene in NiT suicides

On 2026-04-20, CPI(M) Rajya Sabha leader John Brittas wrote to Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan seeking urgent intervention over a series of student suicides and suicide attempts at NIT Kurukshetra. He also called for a panel to probe the circumstances and review the institute's response system.
