Pakistani strikes in Afghanistan’s Kunar kill 3 civilians, injure 45

On 2026-04-27, Pakistani forces reportedly launched drone strikes and later fired artillery shells on areas around the provincial capital of Kunar province, Afghanistan. The provincial information and culture department said three civilians were killed and 45 others injured, most of them women and children. The attacks also reportedly damaged the campus of Syed Jamaluddin Afghan University.
