Armenia raises threshold for criminal tax crimes to 30 million AMD

On 2026-04-16, the National Assembly of Armenia approved amendments to the Tax Code and related laws in initial reading in Yerevan. The changes would raise the thresholds for criminal liability for tax offenses, shifting more cases to the administrative level, according to the State Revenue Committee head Eduard Hakobyan.
