William Neil McCasland

William Neil McCasland is an astronautical engineer, retired United States Air Force major general, and former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory. He is currently the director of technology at Applied Technology Associates. Following his disappearance in February 2026, a silver alert was issued by Bernalillo County. The New Mexico Search and Rescue was reportedly assisting with the investigation.
