Umar Khalid

Syed Umar Khalid is an Indian activist. He was a research scholar at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and a former leader of the Democratic Students' Union at the university. He is associated with United Against Hate, a campaign founded along with Nadeem Khan in July 2017, in response to a series of lynchings in India.
