Sunetra Pawar

Sunetra Ajit Pawar is an Indian politician serving as 11th Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra alongside Eknath Shinde since 2026. She is the first woman to hold the office. Sunetra also serves as the National President of the Nationalist Congress Party and has previously represented Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha. She is the widow of her predecessor and husband, Ajit Pawar, who died in a plane crash in 2026.
