Simeon Brown

Simeon Peter Brown is a New Zealand politician and Member of Parliament in the House of Representatives for the National Party. Following the 2023 New Zealand general election, Brown became Minister of Energy, Minister of Local Government, Minister of Transport, Minister for Auckland, and Deputy leader of the House in the Sixth National Government. In January 2025, he was appointed as Minister of Health and Minister for State Owned Enterprises, while dropping his energy, local government and transport portfolios. In April 2026, Brown regained his energy portfolio and became the National Party's campaign chair for the 2026 New Zealand general election.
