Nalin Prabhat

Nalin Prabhat is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 1992 batch of Andhra Pradesh cadre. He served as the director general of the National Security Guard from 1 May 2024 to 15 August 2024. Thereafter, he was transferred to AGMUT cadre to be appointed as director general of Jammu and Kashmir Police and took the charge on 1 October 2024.
