Ken Laban

Fauono Ken Laban is a New Zealand rugby league footballer, broadcaster and politician. Between 2013 and 2025 he was a member of the Greater Wellington Regional Council, having previously been a councillor for the Hutt City Council from 2010 to 2013. In 2025 he was elected mayor of Lower Hutt, becoming New Zealand's first Pasifika mayor.
