Julia Lopez

Julia Louise Lopez is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hornchurch and Upminster since 2017. She has served as Shadow Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology since July 2025. Lopez served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Leader of the Opposition from November 2024 to July 2025, having previously served as Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport in Rishi Sunak's Caretaker Shadow Cabinet.
