Jim Harra

Sir James Alan Harra, is a British civil servant who served as First Permanent Secretary and Chief Executive of HM Revenue and Customs from October 2019 to April 2025. In March 2026, Harra was announced as the new head of National Savings and Investments by the pensions minister, Torsten Bell.
