Hadi Sirika

Hadi Abubakar Sirika is a Nigerian government official. He is currently the Pro-Chancellor and chairman, Governing Council Umaru Musa Yar'adua University (UMYU), Katsina. He is the former Minister for Aviation and Aerospace of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is a former member of the House of Representatives, and former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where he represented Katsina North Senatorial District under the platform of Congress for Progressive Change in 2011 election cycle. Sirika held the position of vice-chairman of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Committee set by the Nigerian Senate.
