Benjamin Allen

Benjamin J. Allen is an American attorney and politician who has served as a member of the California State Senate from the 24th district since 2022, having previously represented the 26th district from 2014 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as University of California Student Regent and as a Santa Monica–Malibu Unified School District school board member. He is currently a candidate in the 2026 California Insurance Commissioner election.
