Anthony G. Brown

Anthony Gregory Brown is an American politician and lawyer serving as the attorney general of Maryland since 2023. He previously served as the U.S. representative for Maryland's 4th congressional district from 2017 to 2023 and as the eighth lieutenant governor of Maryland from 2007 to 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, he was its nominee for governor in the 2014 election, losing to Republican Larry Hogan in a close race.
