Alberto Melloni is an Italian church historian, full professor at the University of Modena Reggio Emilia, Unesco Chairholder of the Chair on Religious Pluralism & Peace at the University of Roma La Sapienza and secretary of the Foundation for Religious Studies in Bologna-Palermo-Venice.
