It is owned by the Tegna subsidiary of Nexstar Media Group alongside Class A MeTV affiliate WALV-CD ; Nexstar also owns CBS affiliates WTTV/WTTK and Fox affiliate WXIN. WTHR and WALV-CD share studios on North Meridian Street in downtown Indianapolis; WTHR's transmitter is located near Ditch Road and West 96th Street in Carmel.
