Telecom Egypt

Telecom Egypt is Egypt's primary telephone company. Founded in 1854 with the first telegraph line in Egypt, it is the first telecommunications company in Africa. In 1998, it replaced the former Egyptian National Telecommunication Organization (ARENTO).
