The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, formally the HIV/AIDS Bureau, is a bureau of the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It funds primary health care, support services and life-sustaining medications for about half of the estimated 1.1 million people living with HIV/AIDS in the United States, as the U.S. government's social response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic of the late 20th century, with a budget of more than $2.1 billion.
