NLFT

The National Liberation Front of Tripura was a banned Christian Tripuri nationalist militant organisation based in Tripura, India. It had an estimated 1500 members in 2001. The NLFT sought to secede from India and establish an independent Tripuri state and was an active participant in the Insurgency in Northeast India. The NLFT is currently designated as a terrorist organization in India.
