National Disaster Management Agency

The National Disaster Management Agency is an emergency management agency of the Malaysian Government. It functioned as a coordinator for government agencies involved in disaster enforcement. NADMA is placed under the Prime Minister's Department of Malaysia, which allows it to coordinate emergency management efforts carried out by other agencies such as the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), Royal Malaysian Police, Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM), Fire and Rescue Department, Malaysia Volunteers Corps Department (RELA) and the Social Welfare Department of Malaysia (JKM).
