Government of Maharashtra

The Government of Maharashtra is the executive branch of the Indian state of Maharashtra. The government is led by the chief minister who selects the council of ministers and is appointed by the Governor of Maharashtra. The state has had a BJP-led government since 2024. The chief minister and his council of ministers form the cabinet of Maharashtra, which is responsible for overseeing the administration of the state, policy formulation, etc.
