The Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) is the civilian intelligence and security agency of Zimbabwe, tasked mainly with the clandestine and covert operations, counterintelligence, counter-revolutionary, counterterrorism, executive protection, intelligence assessment, intelligence gathering, internal security, political warfare, and threat assessment to national security.
